Is Idaho State a tough match?  I see they clobbered Utah State in their only game to date.  They've also had 4 games on their schedule cancelled. They could be chomping on the bit to get back on the court.  Looking forward to see how our girls look in game 2.

Scouting Idaho State
The Bengals, under Coach Seton Sobolewski, finished 18-13 last season including a 13-7 Big Sky Conference record, return to Lincoln after a 85-61 season-opening win over Utah State.

The Bengals return their top nine scorers from a year ago and feature a starting five who are all in at least their third year at Idaho State. Returning players include 5-7 guard, Rs Sr. Dora Goles (Croatia) and Junior Callie Bourne (Australia), (*) older sister of Husker, Isabelle Bourne. Callie Bourne averaged 4.1 points and 3.6 rebounds last season. Also 5-10 guard Estefania Ors (Spain), Diaba Konate (France), and 6-2 junior Ellie Smith (Kennewick, WA).

Last season, Idaho State averaged 67.4 points while surrendering 60.7 points per game. The Bengals out-rebounded opponents (36.2-35.0) and posted a team assist-to-turnover ratio (457-464) that dominated their opponents (302-500). ISU hit 43.6 percent of its shots from the field, including 36.5 percent of its threes while averaging 6.6 threes per game.

In last week's season-opening win over Utah State, Idaho State hit 8-of-24 threes, won the rebounding battle 42-40, and dished out 14 assists while committing just nine turnovers. The Bengals held Utah State to six assists while forcing 13 turnovers.

It should be a good game "Battle of the Sisters."  I think we all are looking forward to see how they play in Game #2!

Idaho is keying on stopping Bourne, and Cain......and they fill the lane on defense.  They stop drives to the basket.

They are fouling a lot and not getting called for them all.     We have to hit threes to loosen their defense....

We have to up our "scrappy" game.  Fouls by Idaho may become a factor

WE can not stand still on offense

Actually this kind of game is good experience. I hate those constant fouling teams, but we need the experience. We improved our focus the second half.....sharpened our game. Took better care of the ball.

Stewart needs way more playing time. Too valuable.  She does things our other bigs can't do...and she knows the game.

Scoggins is improving fast. Cravens too....she moves well, I see why she rebounds well... not glued to the floor. Will be a real asset as time goes on.
