I’m as critical as anyone but there’s only so much you can do when the opposing PG is guaranteed two free throws every play.

Ouedraogo is really bad. He may have reshaped his body but he has zero hands or touch. 
 

Mayen has to take that shot at the end. It was open.  Bad loss because we had it in the bag.

Our inability to shoot and to make FT cost us this game. Looked like Nebraska of old today

Pretty poor performance. Going to have nights like that if you live and die by the 3. Hoping Lat doesn’t have many shooting performances like that.

 

One of the things that game showed us how valuable it is for Lat to be knocking down 3s, especially early in the game, in order to bring his defender out and open up the lane a little bit. Unfortunately, I think it also showed how much of a liability Yvan is on both offense and defense at this point in his development.

The good...Not much good.  I guess the good for me is I think Stevenson did alright and should get more minutes.

 

The bad...our shooting was bad.  At times our defense was bad.

 

The ugly...this game.

This is 'Big Boy' Basketball.   Like Coach Fred Hoiberg, I think the team will learn from this and 'Man-Up!'

There was one point toward the end of the game he was struggling to gather up the ball for an inbounds after a made basket and it looked like he was swatting at the ball with hammers attached to his hands

Not to “pile on” Yvan, but he looks like the big kid that someone suggested should go out for Basketball...if he makes even HALF of his put-backs were a much different team.
