whoopdeedoo Posted August 8, 2023 Report Posted August 8, 2023 i have always thought Prince is a "must get" for the husker program. with the new alignment on the way, it most likely deserves capital letters (MUST GET). Quote
HUD Posted August 8, 2023 Report Posted August 8, 2023 I still think she will commit to Nebraska by Sept. 1st of this year. whoopdeedoo and Jugular 2 Quote

whoopdeedoo Posted September 13, 2023 Report Posted September 13, 2023 just finished listening to the SM & Amie Just podcast. Sam stated Brit will be making her decision in October. Also stated there will be an article coming out on her recruiting sometime towards the end of the week? 12dozen and All About the Corn 1 1 Quote
Tom Jones Posted September 15, 2023 Report Posted September 15, 2023 and here it is ..... https://journalstar.com/sports/high-school/basketball/girls/elkhorn-norths-britt-prince-narrows-college-choices-to-11-including-nebraska-creighton/article_987f147c-2dcb-5371-b820-7e2b092622c1.html#tracking-source=home-top-story The optimist in me says ... All About the Corn Posted September 15, 2023 Report Posted September 15, 2023 Kind of figured Iowa would be in the mix. Quote
Cazzie22 Posted September 15, 2023 Report Posted September 15, 2023 Iowa plays a fun, up tempo style that would suit her game. But we have to sign her. All About the Corn and whoopdeedoo 2 Quote
Red Don Posted September 15, 2023 Report Posted September 15, 2023 Quote Prince, one of the state’s most heavily recruited high school athletes ever, received 35 Division I scholarship offers. The 5-foot-11 senior guard has whittled that list to 11 and is expected to make her decision in less than two months. The pared-down list of collegiate landing places for the high-scoring guard are Nebraska, Creighton, Iowa, Iowa State, Indiana, Oklahoma, Oregon, North Carolina, Baylor, USC and Louisville. Quote
Tom Jones Posted October 5, 2023 Report Posted October 5, 2023 will someone remind her please .... it's October now Quote
All About the Corn Posted October 5, 2023 Report Posted October 5, 2023 I am thinking shortly before BB practice starts she will name her choice. So another month. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted October 5, 2023 Report Posted October 5, 2023 She will likely narrow her list down first, perhaps to her top five. I will be anxious to see if she is attending Husker games this season. Quote
All About the Corn Posted October 5, 2023 Report Posted October 5, 2023 Will she be at the Iowa WBB game at Kinnick (football) on the 15th? It will be on BTN so maybe just might have to watch. Quote

whoopdeedoo Posted October 11, 2023 Report Posted October 11, 2023 anyone else getting more and more nervous about this decision? i just have the feeling if she really had her heart set on Big Red, it wouldn't drag out this long. someone calm the nerves....... Quote

I'm not concerned at this point. I assume she is deciding what her most important priorities may be. We have a lot going for us. But the other schools likely have their own plus and minuses. I am still pretty confident that Nebraska still brings the most to the table. Quote
Neb Nets Posted October 12, 2023 Report Posted October 12, 2023 There was loose talk (read: rumors likely based on wishful thinking) this spring about NU making some room for Britt’s mom to serve on the WBB staff in some capacity if Britt chose Nebraska. But if that were to be true, then I would think that would give NU a decided advantage. But I’m with you, Whoopdeedoo, the longer this goes on without an announcement, the less I like NU’s chances. Then again, whatever happens, happens. You all know how I feel: I don’t care where she goes, just ANYWHERE but Iowa! HuscurAdam 1 Quote

And yes, think it's just rumor stuff. Don't have a real clue, where Britt will go. Her choices are too many to try to figure out a winner. It's nothing but a guess for fans. But.. hoping it could be Nebraska. But if not, she'll probably pick a high level nationally ranked team. Quote
Cazzie22 Posted October 12, 2023 Report Posted October 12, 2023 Have we recruited at a high enough level for her to commit to NU? I am sure she has a goal of competing for Championships. I hope she becomes a Husker but I have my doubts. Quote

All About the Corn Posted October 12, 2023 Report Posted October 12, 2023 I would guess she is taking the time to shrink the list to her top 4-5 schools. I think it is Creighton, and B1G schools. Maybe a couple of schools in red, and one in black. Quote

HUD Posted October 12, 2023 Report Posted October 12, 2023 In my mind if she comes to NU great. If not I don't think our program will fold. There are one hell of a lot more important things in a college athletes career than winning a national championship. NU is second to none in supporting women's athletics in all aspects.
