Sit one to play one? Or does the 2020 season not count so he will have two years? Could also be eligible right away since he transferred back to his home city during the pandemic.

2020 for spring sports is a do over for all players. He also has a redshirt. He will apply for waiver. So if he gets waiver he gets 2 to play 2. If he doesn't get waiver, he can redshirt then play 2.

So the only class that got larger was the freshmen class? As freshmen from last season will still be freshmen and join in with the incoming class?

And senior classes probably shrunk as some seniors decided not to return.

Shatel saying "there's more where that came from." College baseball could soon enter a golden age.

Speculating that college baseball is going to be more important to the MLB now than it has in recent past:

Yep that's exactly it, I think they expanded how many scholarships each teams get, but it wasn't by a whole lot. Coaches still have to be creative with numbers.

This is so dumb.... for a variety of reasons.

For a few, if they permit basketball non-con games, it's just dumb.  In addition, baseball is months away... like over 3 months until the first games.  That would be like the beginning of August to now.  As you know a lot can happen in 3 months.
