Mommy was burning bridges with coaches earlier this year. Kid ever grows up and realizes the world owes him nothing and to take responsibility for his mistakes he might be a decent player, the talent COULD be there. Nebrasketball1979 and NUtball 2 Quote

aphilso1 Posted May 21, 2020 Report Posted May 21, 2020 I find this sad more than anything else. Cam clearly hasn't figured out that bashing coaches publicly reflects poorly on you as the player more than it does on the coach. Especially when the coaching staff gave you a half dozen second chances to change your behavior. Nebrasketball1979, colhusker and Silverbacked1 3 Quote

49r Posted August 13, 2020 Report Posted August 13, 2020 I wish him nothing but the best. I hope he has great success at Prairie View. Interestingly, he'll probably have a better chance to get to the 2021 NCAA tournament there than he would have staying at Nebraska. Assuming there's a season, of course. Silverbacked1 1 Quote

hhcmatt Posted August 13, 2020 Report Posted August 13, 2020 Have to think a big part of the issue with Cam is that you're looking a guy who has used his redshirt so potentially he's sitting a year and then only has one year left. TBH Prairie View is a good place because it gives him a great opportunity to get that waiver moving close to home. Cam's academics appear to be in good shape so I'd assume he's easily a grad transfer after one more year of college. If the NCAA or his league suspends their basketball season then he's looking at the possibility of being a grad transfer with 2 years left. He might find he likes it at Prairie View. Who knows. The guy has the only triple-double in program history. He's certainly talented but you have to wonder if that will ever translate into a team with him as the focal point winning. Hopefully he finds the right situation and we'll both be better off for it. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted August 13, 2020 Report Posted August 13, 2020 If he ever gets over his mommy issues, he could be a really good player one day. Quote

hhcdave Posted August 24, 2020 Report Posted August 24, 2020 My least favorite player in program history. Good riddance. Know he wanted to be closer to home but this landing spot says a lot. The fact that Rice, Texas State, Houston, UT Arlington, UT San Antonio, etc. didn't offer? Yikes. cornfed24-7 and millerhusker 2 Quote
