That’s a disappointing performance by Husker fans.  We need to have larger crowds to help attract recruits.

When Yori was coach we had 4500 - 5000 every game. I don't know if the drop is in protest of the Yori firing or the result of whats being put on the floor. Purdue counts tickets sold, not butts in the seats.

I'm not so sure?  Sixth in the Big Ten seems pretty good when you think that only Purdue, Iowa, Maryland, Ohio State and Michigan State are ahead of us in (home) attendance (Michigan State by only some 250); and, Who we are Ahead of:  Indiana, Minnesota, Michigan & Wisconsin; far outdistancing Rutgers, Penn State, Illinois & Northwestern (by over 2,000 each).

Like I said earlier, Purdue counts tickets sold. not butts in the seats. So that figure could be miss leading a bit.

i would hope the Yori fans would be over it by now. should be water under the bridge, and imo, this staff and team are rather easy to support. hopefully recruiting stays on the upswing. besides, the "person under control" at the time is gone.

 Don't think so Bugs..... I would think the Yori thing would be done by now.

 

As you mention, any drop in attendance may be a result of the last couple of years, while Coach Amy is developing the team. Working to get the winning percentage up further again. Can't be done in a couple of years.  We are creating renewed interest with this years progress.

 

Get back to the NCAA's consistently, and it will take care of itself. (and beating Iowa too   )
