Is she a walk on?  I didn’t ever see where it specifically said that. — u need some kids that just love nu and want to work hard to be a part of it. Obviously walk ons have done well for football at nu

Have this for Whitney Brown ...Grand Island NW...if  this is the correct girl. (will see what I can find about a commitment ?)

 

Her twitter page does say she committed to NU to pursue athletics

The senior guard agreed to walk on to the Nebraska women’s basketball program last week and announced her decision on Sunday.

“It’s a big relief,” Brown said. “I made the decision last Tuesday and tweeted it out (Sunday) to let people know.”

Brown had a pair of scholarship offers from NCAA Div. II schools, but in the end the allure of the Huskers won out.
