Press Conference 2-8-13

Just got around to watching today's press conference, and I found it interesting some of the comments coach made at the end of the PC about the hand checking non-calls "out on the perimeter" (read, Aaron Craft) against Ohio State.

 

He said, and I'm paraphrasing here, "That gets called as a foul in the NBA, but not in college.  We proved that against Ohio State".  The premise being that at least part of the reason for the down trend of scoring in college hoops is because of the lack of calls in this area of the game.

 

Now, he put it as diplomatically and delicately as one can and still get the point across, but it seems to me Coach is just as upset about the officiating in that game as some of us were last week.

...so guards should not be able to hand check while the bigs underneath can knee, push, shove, and shoulder each other?
