Creighton who?

ESPN is reporting U Conn to rejoin the Big East.  https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/27030819/sources-uconn-expected-rejoin-big-east%3fplatform=amp

That would be a huge get for them.   Not sure if it would better or worsen our chances of seeing a Nebraska vs UConn b-ball game for the men sooner than we would if they stayed where they are.

Does anyone pay much attention to their football program? Lol they could keep them in the big east and have them win the conference title every year.

I'm sure the primary reason for them trying to move to the Big East is that recruits are saying "UConn has a basketball program?"

The re-inclusion of UConn feels like a pretty big deal for the Big East. Wonder if the conference would go ahead & add a 12th member, as has been rumored since the beginning of the latest iteration of the B.E. in attaining a full complement of 12 members. And UConn football has really bottomed out, that's too bad.

They really haven’t recovered from the steady hand of Bob Diacco...

Some speculation on which school would replace UConn in the AAC:

Service: Navy/Air Force/Army

Old Flame: Boise State

Independent: BYU

CUSA: FIU, North Texas, FAU, Charlotte, Old Dominion, UAB

Others: Buffalo, Appalachian State, Georgia State

With the Gavitt Games, the odds of us playing each other are MUCH higher than if UCONN were to stay in the American.

If they moved Memphis to the other division and added Boise that would actually be a decent conference.

Boise probably won't go for that though. Too much travel and it would mess with their scheduling philosophy too much.

Buffalo is probably their best option, with UAB 2nd.
