Purdue announces non-conf schedule...

Still haven't decided if the "cream puff" is the way to go, or a more aggressive pre season schedule. Kind of lean toward a weak, with a tougher couple

of games just before the season starts. 

 

It seems to work for Purdue and it may be the best option for a not so experienced team that needs to jell, and learn to play together. 

 

Success breeds confidence regardless of schedule.  Maybe puts your team in a good frame of mind when the tougher teams come to town?

I would think as a coach you would want to level that scheduled out between cream puffs and playing some tougher competition and the fact that if you play the tougher competition and you can play with them that would boost your confidence as well I would think
