2021 C Adama Sanogo

Recommended Posts

Hoiberg feels really good about what we have. Sanogo would have been a great addition no doubt. But our rebounding will improve with some combination of Walker, Ouedraogo, and Mayen. Also we will be much more physically imposing on the wing with Teddy, Shamiel, and Kobe King compared to Haanif, Jervay, and Dachon.

Wasnt there another big mentioned? Cool name, possibly reclassify to 2020

wilhelm Breidenbach decided to stick with his original class of 2021.

That is unfortunate.  Breidnebach looked like he could be an absolute steal for us if he slid up to 2020.  I imagine he will get a lot of good offers this year, and competition for him is going to be a lot tougher.

One local sports reporter is apparently advancing the theory that another local sports reporter's recent coverage of Nebraska basketball (was used for negative recruiting purposes and) sabotaged our chances with Mr. Sanogo.

Here's a hint:

Well we know the local sports reporter being accused is Chris Heady. Care to share who the other local sports reporter is?

Don't really buy too much into that considering it looks like he was set on Seton Hall anyway.

Ya the timing of that article was horrible, who knows if it had a role in his decision though..

Someone locally who writes for a publication thinks it was the thing that flipped his commit from us to someone else. Used by the team who won his commit.

Never underestimate the turns recruiting can take.. Also don’t underestimate the fact one of UCONN’s top recruiters probably still occasionally sees some OWH headlines on his feed...

To think a college recruit decided to not go to a school cause of a reporter is absurd.  The reporter stated facts based on stats in the league.  If that was a reason a recruit didnt commit then see ya later.
