Love TD Ameritrade.  IMO it might be the perfect ballpark.  It's just a shame it only gets used basically two weeks out of each year, for the Big Ten tournament and the CWS.

Fair point but there are a number of really good MLB parks that face the same direction.

There several parks that are built the same way as TDA.there's one in Lincoln and one in Hastings that face the same way as TDA.

Duncan field in Hastings is as big as TDA. it's 375 to left, 405 in the power alleys, 408 to dead center, and 367 to right, Hastings college plays there as does a wood bat league for college kids and those guys don't have a problem getting balls out of the park.

If I recall, there's some college that uses TD Ameritrade for intramural pickup games between February thru May.

Bauman goes for Iowa. Last two starts he hasn’t gone into the 5th. But before that he threw a strong 5 innings against a good Irvine team. He’s getable. A win and being able to rest the BP until Saturday would put us in awesome shape.

Hey the under was close! The Nebraska game was 9.5. The other games were listed at 11.5. Unders went 3-1 on the day...hopefully the wind is blowing in again.

Storms possible tonight. Would suck if this started and gets delayed and we have to burn Fish. Would do a disservice to both us and Iowa, not that anyone cares about the latter.

So what?  Was a dumb decision to build a park with the same dimensions as Rosenblatt without the prevailing winds aiding ballflight.

Illinois almost out of inning after Michigan appeared to bounce into a bases loaded double play.  The call was overturned.  A run scored, and the next batter doubles in two runs to tie the game at 3 going to the 8th inning.

What a wild finish. Illinois gave up 2 baserunners and then allowed a double to lose 5-4 in the bottom of the 9th.
