I agree.  A lot of hard hit balls found gloves.  Mojo's DP ball was scalded right at 1b.

Its good to see Mojo play more and get the nod at the leadoff spot, he just gets it done with his bat and his glove. Absolutely should be a regular in the lineup and not just used situationally like he was at one point.

Can't let up on the Sun Devils, need to try to add on.  Nice to see the bats come alive.  ASU, near the top of the country in home runs, have 7 home runs this series.  We are near the bottom of the country in home runs and have 5 this series.  I hope it is the bats coming alive, and not the ASU pitching staff.

A decision to make.  Shay throws 3 strikes for the third out in the 8th.  Do you bring in Gomes or stick with Shay?

 

Maybe we can just make this decision easier and score a bunch of runs in the 8th.

Love the offense!!  Now if we can hang on for one more inning.  An insurance run or two here in the bottom of the 8th would be awesome.

I think it is a little of both. heard a comment on Friday that as good as ASU's bats are, the pitching not so much.

RPI up to #37. Surprised we didn’t get more of a bump. But it was home games. 

 

Iowa dropped 20 spots with their series loss. They will likely need to win in omaha now.
