Just became a higher priority.

Losing Jayce does not change that.

Jayce would have played as a grad transfer next season, which Joel needs to sit out if he transfers here. Having one doesn't really affect the other. Or am I missing something?

Nvm: Joel might get a waiver. My bad!

Has also visited Connecticut.

That makes visits to UConn, TCU, and Nebraska as his known official visits.

Anyone else notice that it feels like we are going head to head with TCU on every front court player we pursue? Is the recruiting equivalent of the NIT regional semifinals?

Since Ntambwe has entered the witness protection program, how long before we offer his (5-star, #3 in the country for 2021) younger brother Jonathan Kuminga? 6'8" SF from NYC. Coach Matt has already been on him for SJU. The likelihood that we could even get Kuminga is small (Kentucky tops the offer list), but screw it, let's dream BIG.

  • hhcmatt changed the title to 2019 Transfer Joel Ntambwe -> Texas Tech

So tech dropped Khalid Thomas for Joel Ntambwe. Pretty good trade of talent for better talent.

Late grab guys like Joel are gold on the transfer market; they have a good season, look into going pro, then transfer to a program that gets players drafted. Chris Beard is definitely building a program
