jimmykc
And we have winners! The Hammer had a pretty sweet Hollywood career after they carted him off the field in SuperBowl I.

jimmykc
To be precise, Frederick the Great was Prussian, and GW kicked his mercenaries' butts in Trenton. I only featured him because his expression indicates he has been watching the Red Sox stumbling start to their season. I'll go ahead and put a less dour Fred on in a bit. jayschool

jimmykc
For some reason I keep getting a monthly free magazine called the Trumpet which keeps insisting that the Holy Roman Empire will be coming back any day now. I do like the photo and might photoshop Hoiberg's face onto it if I only knew how to do it.

jimmykc
Well done! I think he was on both Green Acres and Petticoat Junction. Those were the days of cutting edge humor. I believe both series might have been filmed in Iowa. And now on to another tv Fred.

jimmykc
Yes, Fred and Ethyl Mertz were Desi and Lucy's neighbors. Fred was played by William Frawley, who was reported to be somewhat of a jerk in real life. Onward to some sports Freds. hhcmatt

jimmykc
I'm a little disappointed since I thought this Fred was one of the easier ones. Suffice it to say, I always preferred Benny when I used to listen to them on the radio.

jimmykc
Ok, fair enough.I never thought Fred Allen was very funny anyway. George and Gracie were a different story. I have a few more relatively easy ones and then will crescendo with a trio of Freds I wouldn't have gotten myself. Actually, I would have neglected Right Said Fred since "I'm Too Sexy" almost plummets to "Muscrat Love" level on my personal playlist and I never knew the name of the group.
