How many frickin' guys have had career highs against NU in the last couple of months?  That guy will never shoot that well again in a competitive game in his life.  Totally played out of his gourd.

Bane? He had 34 against Texas a couple of weeks ago.  He was going to be a bad matchup for us with no Tom Allen

We're basically playing with 2 walk-ons and a couple more guys who are more or less walk-on level guys.  And we're going up against a team with a roster full of D1 scholarship guys.  Really, what could we expect?  

 

Would love to see JTB get into double figures.  Fitting end to his run if he gets there.

Probably just contemplating the end of the Miles/Watson era. Even if Kent stays, he has to wonder, considering how much of a lock an NCAA win seemed in December, how many more years before we get there if it's another reset.

I have so much respect for that group. It would have been easy for every player and every coach to pack it in, but they battled and scrapped despite everything. 

 

It will be remembered as a disappointing season that cost Miles his job, but they have a lot to be proud of.

Nothing went right and we just didn't have the motor we've had in the last few weeks. 

 

Still, not many of us expected them to still be playing this late after that horrid mega-swoon.
