If you look at the KenPom bench minutes stats we are 348th in the country so yes we are playing the starters a lot.

However, we're not playing a West Virginia/Illinois up and down sort of style of ball. Our tempo is 285th in the country.

The team that is 349th in the country in bench minutes is St. Johns which plays at a faster pace that we do.

The team this is 350th is Michigan and I would think there would be consensus here that John Beilein knows what he's doing.

That’s pretty good info. Good research, Matt.

Do not recall which postgame interview it was with Miles on the Husker Radio Network but the subject of the team being tired came up. And Miles said something that Brandon Ubel told him. Ubel said they are college kids they have plenty of energy. Or something along those lines.

What's he supposed to say?

When going to ESPN, does anyone else have to first click on "- - -" to get to NCCA Basketball, while MMA sits comfortably showcased right there on the homepage?

Fox does that to me. Neither site emphasizes NCAAMB.  NASCAR, Soccer and Boxing all rate higher for the likes of viewers of either network, apparently.

I am not sure how to feel about this game.  Michigan St. is pretty good(not as good as most want to believe).  They played a good game.  A Smart game.  They seemed to make big shots at big times.  I feel like we would win this game about 70 percent of the time if it were played several times.  Unfortunately, this was not one of them and it hurts bad.  We had a hell of a shot at a 3 or 4 seed with a win.  We have got to get as far away from that 8-9 line as possible and this was a missed chance to do that.

Michigan State makes it to the final four.

This game we played, we had a chance, a really good chance.  This loss also sent us into the circle of death. We were close fans; but with Coach Fred, we may finally push to that upper level.

Get some ballers to perform at a high level and Nebrasketball's right there. Seeing TT, MSU, & Auburn along with UVa makes a Husker fan think it's certainly possible to happen for Lincoln when these other 4 places aren't exactly known as major cities or regions of the USA for their college hoops greatness, per se.

We were soooo close in so many ways.

Tantalizingly close.

No doubt. Great teams overcome injuries, see MSU, for instance.

Got to have all the right ingredients, the process if you will; that roster management/distribution/development will be the fun part to watch unfold with Fred Hoiberg & Co.

This off-season's gonna be lit.

Should have won that ball game.  They had young guys playing new roles with the injuries they just endured.  They have since grown into those roles with good coaching and are a better club now.
