Yes, we are missing open shots.  But not rebounding, and poor defense is not as simple.

We cant live and die by it, its poor basketball. So is just giving it to palmer all the time and hoping. You have to score from the open man by warriors passing, not iso. defensively we just stink, and that's still my objection. the energy level isn't there. iowa shouldn't be routinely turning the corner on our defenders this easily. they're not that quick.

God I love our fans and HC advantage and all, but I hate being that pussy team that doesnt have strength of will and character to go out of the road and perform. Sometimes it shows. but oh, ever so rarely. We are so great at home yet a complete Jekyll and hyde away. Wtf

Hard to describe my feelings right now.  We look like we have a Maryland hangover or something.  I cannot look at one aspect of our game that I am proud of right now.  Can we come back and win, sure!  But not if we keep playing like we are.

we're pretty much always going to lose the boards battle in this conference. that's a given. 

 

but that's why it's so imperative to hustle hard on defense and get steals and blocks, neither of which we're getting in this one. and it's mostly a lack of high energy on defense. the focus and willpower isn't there. 

 

we're definitely going to have to hold home court, because that seems like the only place we can play quality teams successfully at. and then hope that one or two of the bottom feeders coughs up a road game because we're not winning at the top 2/3 of the conference on the road.
