Sorry if this has already been posted or discussed somewhere but from this morning's article by Chris Basnett, I did not realize this:

Creighton — run and gun, let it fly Creighton — finished with zero fast-break points.

Hasn't been posted yet.

In the pre-game Miles talked about the Jays usually running some complex offensive sets but this season (i'm assuming the lack of experience) it's transition and hunting for 3s.

I watched a big beat us down the court fir two.  I would consider it a fast break.

Im trying to remember but I think it was Creightons second bucket?

We clamped down on them for most of the evening. We lost Ballock on a few occasions but he also hit some tough shots.  Their big SLOW Aussie’s are just not good enough to play in that type of game. I’m surprised in recruiting they haven’t tried to find someone more like Roby for down low.

Those guys are serviceable for what they want to do with the center position which is guard an opposing center and also make people pay for covering them on the 3. None of them really shoot 3s or really guard PFs though so you're talking about 3 guys for one spot on a team that doesn't have a stretch 4.  Maybe they could have found one in Platteview.

Poor roster composition....no Nebraska kids on the squad....which team is that now?

Here's the thing about this game: we didn't just win, we flat out dominated these guys in a manner that you might expect for a team playing against its 8th easiest remaining opponent.

I saw some tweets about people being tense about a double digit lead not being enough but to the non-invested viewer you just saw dominance.

Whoa! KenPom now has heartbeat monitor capabilities for Creighton fans? I really need to subscribe to his content!

A large part of that big run we had in the first half came with Palmer on the bench.

We don’t ever want anyone in foul trouble but at this point in the year it looks like we mask when Palmer is in foul trouble pretty well. Nana either comes in and provides spacing or we go big which really intrigues me in spirts.

Unbelievable effort. Beat them at their own game. Couldn't be more pleased with how this game went.

I read somewhere else that CU had 5 fast-break points, all fairly early in the game..... but the point is still the same, the Jays never truly sparked a comeback through quick scores.

It was very early in the game.  I don’t remember the specifics.  It isn’t even a big deal so I probably shouldn’t have posted it. The point remains the same.  We did a good job.

Ty-Shon should be getting more flack. He didn't show up. We completely took him out of the game. Its nice to see us do this to them for once when so many times, they've been able to take out our best players over the years or at least limit them severely.

Bad karma for Ty-Shon.    When he made the 3 early he woofed all the way down our Nicholson seats for about 5 seconds.  Then he disappeared.   Justice.

Another thought I had about Sipple's "high-ranking school official" comment was who that school official could possibly be.

Is the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences a "high-ranking school official?"  Sure.  But, in this context, Sipple wouldn't have referred to them as such.  In the context of the athletic department, the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences doesn't really qualify as "high-ranking."

The list of those who would qualify for that designation is … very short:

Hank Bounds

Ronnie Green

Bill Moos

Marc Boehm

That's it.  Anyone other than those 4 people doesn't really count as a "high-ranking school official" in the context of talking about an athletic program.

I have a guess as to who that official was, but I can tell you I doubt it was Moos or Boehm.

Ahhh, you forgot HB.
