AuroranHusker 4,692 Report post Posted November 11 33 minutes ago, Faux Mike Peltz said: OWH gave an update- said his visit went great and Nebraska has moved way up to the top of his list. NU measured him at 6-4, 170. Hoiberg compared his skill set and game to DeMar DeRozan Sounds good to me. Hunter Sallis would pair very well with Donovan Williams. Keenan9595 23 Report post Posted November 15 It could be he’s waiting to sign until after his knee is rehabbed, it’s not a great injury to come back from and he’s seeing if he’d be able to play. As of now we are his best offer, so unless we learn something soon that someone else offered I’m not to worried. 2 Silverbacked1 and thrasher31 reacted to this
Faux Mike Peltz 296 Report post Posted November 15 I’ve been following Donovan on twitter for quite some time. I’d be shocked as he is literally one of the most proactive recruiters of other players and always tweeting at guys to come to NU. He was at the scrimmage and I saw him speaking with a few assistants, and during Hunter’s visit, he was there as well. 2 1 49r, Silverbacked1 and BmoreRed reacted to this

Norm Peterson 8,688 Report post Posted November 21 "Hunter, KU is an attractive program where you can go and get a few minutes of playing time, even start, and when you leave, they'll remember you for a year before they go on talking about Wilt Chamberlain or Paul Pierce. "We can't compete with their history, but we don't aim to. We can compete with their present, though, and if you come to Nebraska, you could leave here with your jersey hanging in the rafters, and from now on until the end of time, Husker basketball fans will remember your name. And every March around tournament time when we make the dance, they'll lift their glass and toast Hunter Sallis, the local kid who got us that first win in the NCAA tournament." That's kinda how I imagine the conversation going. Kind of a "Henry's speech at Agincourt" kind of vibe. 2 3 REDZONEDAN, jimmykc, atskooc and 2 others reacted to this

jimmykc 3,086 Report post Posted November 21 Norm makes a great pitch for any Nebraska kid to join the "happy few" on HHC. Too bad St Crispin's day has already passed, it would have been a great opportunity for Sallis to have committed to NU. 1 Norm Peterson reacted to this
