My son goes to college at UNK and has become friends with 3-4 kids from Colorado who saw and played against Jervay in high school. They all have the opinion that he is a stud and will be a very good player at Nebraska. Sure hope these kids are right.

Sounds good to me. Always appreciate that first-hand perspective from peers.

Question: would you consider a top 5 JUCO to be the equivalent of a 5 star high school kid?

Takes awhile for jucos to get their sea legs and adjust to the college game. Doesn't happen over night.  I'd like to see stats of what those players look like for the last half of the season rather than the first half.

If/when a new coach comes in, they typically re-recruit those kids here or have signed or committed to play here; IF, he believes they can play his style of ball and perform at the level he expects.  Then he turns to players he may have been involved with (recruited) in past jobs.  He also brings in new assistants and staff that may also have players in their back pockets.

So, what does that mean, I am not sure.  Other than if Moos decides to part company with Coach Miles, we are going to have a very eventful off-season.

My greatest Shang Ping memory is when he hard fouled Joe Dabbert during a summer league game in Omaha...and Chad Millard started barking, only to have Ricky Thenarse challenge him to a fight. Millard tucked real fast...

Going to keep this to myself but not surprised Chad acted that way.

Boy he is a first class douchebag.  You ought to see this awesome email exchange I had with that clown about ten years ago in regards to an NFL eliminator pool. It was pure comic gold.  I had him so tilted and pissed he was wanting to meet up to fight lol.

He's also still showing himself wearing a Husker hoodie in his profile pic on twitter.

Crazy how much of a sign the twitter pic and description are. I remember xavier johnson changed his like a week before he decommited.

Not to be too conspiratorial, but he did like this tweet from Donovan Williams within the past 24 hours. That said, there is not a ton of optimism about Green from husker media types.

Hmmm, not sure that's how the reports have read to me. They've been way more optimistic than I expected considering how tight JG and TM were.
