The returning starter from Dixon, Illinois, will undergo an MRI exam as a precaution. NU coach Tim Miles said, “We hope it’s just a bone bruise.’’

I actually saw Roby and Jordy Sunday afternoon at an all you can eat sushi place here in Lincoln.  He was on crutches with a boot on.  There was another guy with them who I didn't recognize maybe a trainer.  I'm sure the place lost money on the all you can eat sushi on their table (although I ate my fair share too!)

Wait...Roby was already in a boot w/ crutches before Monday's workout?  Not trying to start a conspiracy theory here but just questioning why players in boots on Sunday would be in drills on Monday...

He wasn’t working out on Monday, but he was there and when he left it was by the use of crutches. Just like when he arrived.

I was going to say.  "Bone bruise" can be as serious as a ankle sprain.  I hope healing goes well, but we cannot pretend it is nothing.  This time of year is spent improving or refining ones game.  Missing a month, is at the very least, a set back.

And "all you can eat sushi" apparently not enough to keep Jordy around.
