Vegas doesn’t like us again

I personally think that Vegas and bettors are playing the "at some point they have to crash right?" card on us.  It's like going to a casino and sitting at a slot and you see 7, 7, blank like 30 times.  You then say to yourself.... "At some point I have to hit 7, 7, 7 right?"

#BetTheSkers

Or... there are so many bad gamblers out there betting against us and affecting the line.

I watched a documentary on full time professional sports betters in the vegas area, and they are betting such absurd amounts of money that they are intentionally moving the line.

In theory, they will bet $200,000 early and move the line.  Vegas then will move the lines to try and get the money to be bet equally on both sides. Then right before the game They will hammer the team they think will win $1,000,000.

I'm not necessarily saying this is the case, but it's definitely possible. I think smart betters are starting to figure out the system, and in Vegas I have to assume there isn't so much money on the Nebraska game where it's that hard to change the line.

Yes this does happen a lot, as they get small middles that hit often enough to offset some of that juice.  I do know one basket of movers has been on Nebraska a lot this year.  I am not sure, but I suspect that they have something to do with some of the line movements.  Especially when sharks get limits reduced at a book, they are perfect for using to do this, as their knowledge leads to more line movement than an unknown guy betting the same amount, which sets up a better line for the group to hammer later on.  They make these plays at sites that are not "on screen" books, which are books that will not affect the line, like books most of you that wager play at.  The false plays are made at on screen books ofcourse.  It is interesting and a never ending cat and mouse game between players and books.

On the site that I enjoy losing money on ?, NU has now moved to -1 again. Seems like the public is moving our way. You might be on to something nuhusker7.

Interesting, still holding at Illinois -1 at most offshore places, but small signs of it trending in Nebraska direction.
