This is Why I Don't Like Adidas...

Might be why they "ice out"

Also a lot of teams back in the day had t-shirt uniforms.

And remember that Patrick Ewing restarted all that with he got cold in gyms so I have to wear a team shirt.

Then some as gone as far as the long sleeve t-shirt, but isn't that against NCAA rules now?

Also had a friend who grew up in the 50's in Florida and played some church school that the team had to cover all their body but their heads and hands.  They wore long sleeves and long sweat pants.  But they where the satin type that all teams had as warm ups back in the day.

Minor question of the day: i haven't paid much attention to other teams, but is it now the trend to let players all wear their favorite style and color of shoes as long as they stay within the brand? Sometimes the aqua colored ones worn by some players clash a bit with our uniform colors. Shouldn't the colors at least match? Are there any NCAA rules on uniforms or is the NCAA more lenient than the NFL on these things?

I'm not sure where else to put this, but here's a good look at how cutthroat the apparel/sportswear companies have been:

http://www.wsj.com/articles/nike-plays-hardball-to-keep-its-athletes-1465258535

For those without access to the article, it basically talks about how Nike is suing an athlete for switching over to a new sponsor.
