Not sure if anyone else follows soccer, but there's actually a grassroots push to move the United States' National Teams away from their Nike sponsorship.  Nike has done some outright ugly designs for the USA, and even worse than ugly, have recently been outfitting America in a template/copy of their designs for England, Portugal, etc.  A lot of fans want to go to adidas because they're the alpha male in soccer gear right now and give all their major teams unique looks, but I don't think the fans will get their wish.  There's too much money in it to go to a non-American brand.  Anyway, it's just funny how in college basketball and football we day dream about moving to a "better" brand, but in other sports adidas is the creme dela creme.
