Huskerpapa
What should worry us a bit is that one of those arrested is the head of basketball marketing for Adidas.
Swan88
Here's the thing: This situation is cutting across all the major shoe schools. Everyone needs to be a little careful on this: especially if a school has a dramatic jump in the quality of recruits it's signing. Nebraska, for example, has its highest-quality team in a long time, based on star rankings. And any time a school jumps from making its way with mostly mid-major type of recruits to a much higher-level of recruit, people start wondering why and digging deeper. Blindcheck
Investigation continues...Just because they have only accused a few, does not mean others will not be accused later.
AuroranHusker
University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor Ronnie Green said he is aware of the federal investigation that ensnared an Adidas executive accused of arranging payments to college basketball prospects. Green said NU has not been contacted by the FBI or any other federal authorities... https://t.co/gGE9X1AmGG

You mean like Creighton being involved in the Bowen recruitment...and also lining up probably their best recruiting class ever for 2018? Yeah, looks pretty suspicious to me also. Nike remained the favorite sports brand among upper-income teenagers, with 46 percent of respondents naming it. But that’s down from 51 percent a year ago. Affinity for Adidas nearly doubled to 11 percent and Vans, which is owned by VF Corp., gained 300 basis points to 12 percent."
