WBB Record vs MBB Record

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else noticed the Striking similarity between the MBB and WBB Basketball Records this year?  :o

Both are sitting at 17 wins, Eight in conference!  And Both are well-positioned and capable of making a B1G run in through the remaining games on their schedule.  :)

WBB:  Husker Ladies (KenPom #53) (17-7) (8-3)

Remaining games:  (Most of the remaining games are 'Away' games; but the Ladies have been the better 'Road Warriors' this year! Eight consecutive  'Away' wins This Season)

Sun, 2/11, vs Wisconsin (#130), @ PBA, 2:00 pm CST, BTN Plus
Wed, 2/14, @ Michigan State (#36), 6:00 pm CST, BTN Plus

Thu, 2/22, vs Penn State (#82), @ PBA, 7:00 pm CST, BTN

MBB:  Huskers (Sagarin Rating #61) (17-8) (8-4)

Remaining games:  (Most of the remaining games are at PBA, where the Men's only defeat was vs Kansas)

If I remember correctly we upset both M.S. and Indiana during the last part of last  season.  They probably would like revenge.  We can't afford to lose to either.

If my memory serves me correctly,  I think all the remaining teams have overall winning records.  With that in mind.....they're all in the dangerous games column.

But after the Maryland game...have to believe the girls learned a lot about what it takes to win....what it takes to be a top 25 team.

All year they have responded well after adversity. Fully expect to see an even more prepared and determined team ....the rest of the year.

Indiana worries me more th a n MSU. If we can stop the drive we should do okay.
