When I see this stuff, I am like ohh man, that is a killer for them, but it could help us.  Then I am like... "If I learned anything from last year, we need these teams to do well out of conference... not in conference."

No question. I think this year I'm going all in on rooting for the other conference teams in non-con. With the quadrant bullshit, we need every win as a conf as POSSIBLE, because I have a feeling the huskers will come out with a decent record in March, injuries notwithstanding (knock on wood).

Excited, actually, to watch the others closely. Theres a lot of upside in this conference, and I see it as quite a shame that our rise as a program has seemed to coincide with the recent "down" years of the B1G. Still disagree with the bracketologists though with exactly how severe that downturn was. ?

SE Louisiana has this freshman who came in and went 6-8 from 3pt land in the last 10 minutes. (starting at 9:06 to go if you have an ESPN account) http://www.espn.com/watch/player?id=3450840&lang=en

I suspect that when he does play we can keep a handle on him but dude was straight fire against LSU's second team. You should definitely watch this thing if you have a chance as it's flat out amazing.

Seems like the lower level teams besides the ones we played have done well while the better teams struggled a bit. Clemson starting out well as well as Mizzou St. Okalahoma and USC a little disappointing.
