HuskerFever Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 Would you rather be an avid fan of an 0-7 NCAA tournament team or a 1-0 tournament team (over the past 50+ years)? Quote
hskr4life Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 0-7... Because I know what team that is and I wouldn't change us for the world. jaimes2000 1 Quote
Dead Dog Alley Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 I'd rather be a fan of a team that is 2-8 or 3-8 about 54 weeks from now. jayschool 1 Quote
khoock Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 Easily take 7 appearances over 1. Now if NW makes a run in the tourney I probably change my mind. Quote
HuskerFever Posted March 16, 2017 Author Report Posted March 16, 2017 Man oh man that was a fun game to watch though. I was at the Nebraska/Baylor game in 2014 and I never had a chance to sit on the edge of my seat. Quote
jayschool Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 I'm happy for Julia Louis-Dreyfus and all the other underprivileged people who somehow scraped up enough money to send their kids to Northwestern. Norm Peterson 1 Quote
HuskerCager Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 Good question. 1-0, believe or not. I think that 0-7 record hangs over the program like a dark cloud. Quote
hal9000 Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 And now we stand alone. Silverbacked1 1 Quote
49r Posted March 17, 2017 Report Posted March 17, 2017 No worries. We still have the opportunity to make significant history. It can be done fellas! Quote
HuskerFever Posted March 17, 2017 Author Report Posted March 17, 2017 Husker fans be like... 49r 1 Quote
Huskerpapa Posted March 17, 2017 Report Posted March 17, 2017 Well we are 0-7 and I am not too happy right now. I would rather be something like 33 - 21... Quote
cipsucks Posted March 17, 2017 Report Posted March 17, 2017 0-7 without a doubt. We now have bragging rights to futility. No Tourney wins, no conference championship in 101 years, the best facilities in basketball, 1 winning record in the last 5 years, a basketball administrator whose record in 13 years is abysmal, a head coach who kicks ass on Twitter but not so much on the court, but, the silver lining to this gawd awful cloud? A fan base including everyone here that still supports this cluster f*** no matter what. I'm not running out of patience, but I'm running out of time. I won't live to be 150..... hal9000, tcp and Noah121 3 Quote
The Polish Rifle Posted March 17, 2017 Report Posted March 17, 2017 Isn't the end goal winning? You play to win the game. And it's not like NW is done. A shot at the sweet 16 > one and done. Can we just do it next year and get this over with? Quote
colhusker Posted March 17, 2017 Report Posted March 17, 2017 Hell I had the painful thought last night that we get things fixed, get good, get a #1 Seed and are the first #1 seed to lose to a #16. That said, I will take 0-7, we will get it fixed. Quote
KZRider Posted March 17, 2017 Report Posted March 17, 2017 Well, the team I AM a fan of is 0-7 so I guess I'll choose that one. There are reasons to be a fan that go beyond win-loss records. Of course, winning 1 would be great! Norm Peterson 1 Quote
hskr4life Posted March 17, 2017 Report Posted March 17, 2017 There's only 1 team that doesn't lose their last game of the season.... ok 4 really... but only 1 that matters. As long as we're not "THAT GUY" then I'll be ok! Quote

She could afford an entire wing at the Sorbonne. Or at least, her family could. Quote
