Were we playing either one today?  We couldn't close out the game today.  5 point lead with 1 minute left.  Then had a couple turnovers.  Fouls, missed rebounds.  I was specifically talking about today's game.

Nebraska's losses remind me of the football team last year in losing in so many close games.

With 1 second left you don't have many options.  Either a look from half court or a long pass with some sort of turnaround.

It's just mind boggling that we do everything possible to lose games. We miss layups, miss free throws, commit awful, terrible turnovers and fail to grab rebounds.

 

I couldn't be more ticked off about this loss. Just infuriating.

Those were two of the four easiest games left on the schedule. Win number 10 might be a long ways off.

These last two games sapped the life out of me.  Frustrated doesn't even begin to describe it.   The coaches not executing a rather simple defensive concept late in the game Wednesday still has me pretty mad.  I think if we won that game, we probably get this one.  Instead NCAA hopes are probably hinging on winning the conference tournament now.  About the only thing I can take away is that the effort is there for the most part.
