Chandler outplayed him. Game was close until about 2 minutes left in the 1st half (ironically right after Chandler picked up his 2nd foul). Central ended up being up 10 at half.

Tupper has some nice moves around the basket. Does not do much (if anything in transition). Also defensively he had a couple of blocks an not much more. Not many rebounds

Helps quite a bit that Chandler has a point that can get him the ball. Also played nice defense especially in the 2nd half. Held his ground. He is  big body, but has a soft touch around the basket. Central won by about 30.

Would you take either at NU?

In reality the question is would you take either at NU over Copeland because if you wanted a big man and PG for next year, Copeland isn't a PG. Would you take either over Nana?

Some of us not taking some Nebraska kids relies on what we need.

I should have clarified. I'm not instate-baiting here. Just trying to access where I think these two are level wise.

I am interested as well.  We have had at least two "bigs" who are seniors this year get scholies from Division I schools.  In addition to Chandler, the Norfolk kid got one from Cal State-Davis. (I guess that is Division I basketball).  I am wondering if Topper has that potential as well.  I am told the kid has come a long way.  As a matter of interest, I also found it strange that he didn't do anything against Central in the transition game.  I had heard that was a part of his game.

I'm a huge proponent of in state offers. Having said that, I would not offer either. I think Chandler would be a good fit at UNO (although he is not near as athetic as Treshawn Thurman). Topper is probably D-2 or go to juco. Topper did have 7 boards in first half which suprpised me, but none in 2nd half.

I would take a long look at Roman Behrens. He gets out of control, but is very creative, has quick hands and can shoot. I guess Dartmouth was watching last night.
