hal9000 Posted January 7, 2017 Report Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) Hmm, so may or may not be a hip pointer. I just did some quick and dirty research on hip pointers, and recovery varies on severity, but conservatively a couple weeks. Either way I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't play tomorrow, or at least sparingly. Edited January 7, 2017 by hal9000 Quote
Huskerpapa Posted January 7, 2017 Report Posted January 7, 2017 I know these guys are young, but I do not believe we can go back-to-back playing basically six players. If Isaiah is a no go, Jordy, Jack and perhaps Nick have to be ready to play valuable/productive minutes. Silverbacked1 and hhcmatt 2 Quote

Huskerpapa Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 I understand that we will have six days off, but legs don't know that break is coming. Hopefully this won't be an issue. Quote
ajb5856 Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 I'm worried about legs tomorrow. Northwestern is going to play a style that requires us to play defense for 28 seconds before they shoot. It's going to be a grind. Quote

Jordy will get more time with a slow down game. Jack will also get time if Roby isn't healthy enough by game time. Silverbacked1 1 Quote

uneblinstu Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 (edited) True, but if he has to miss a game to get healthy, then I'd rather him just miss one or two rather than have it linger and open up the risk of missing a lot more. Or maybe they just role with something close to a 7 man rotation for a game or two. Edited January 8, 2017 by uneblinstu Quote
Fullbacksympathy Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 I'd like to see Jordy get some more minutes tonight. But I'm a pretty big Jordy fan.. kind of like I was a big Ed fan last year. Bugeaters1 and PimpMario 2 Quote
PimpMario Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 There is a law that says Nebrasketball has to have someone integral to the team have a nagging injury. ☹️ Quote
