Hmm, nobody has started the post game thread, and I am beat, so BED TIME.  I hope I can fall asleep.

Same Here!  I'm just to emotionally drained to participate in any post-game Chatter!  (TOMORROW, TOMORROW, I'LL PARTICIPATE TOMORROW (singing)

Obviously we weren't playing for the Big Dance...but imo, that was about as much fun as no sit Sunday.

We may have been.  This schedule is a grind.  Pulling out games like this are the difference when you're walking that bubble line.

Sunday's game just as important.

I will take a win anyway we can get it.  Just look at Penn State giving Michigan everything they wanted in Ann Arbor last night.

The funniest quote of the night was in the postgame, Tai talking about guarding Jok.  Jok had 4 points at halftime.  Tai said, "That's the best the Big 10 has to offer?"  After the game he sees he goes off for 34 points.  He's like, he's pretty good.

Just got back from the game. Have a lot to say about it but will save the majority of discussion for tomorrow except for these 2 things.

Winning a 2OT game is all about heart and this team has a lot of heart.

Sure glad that TM didn't give up on Tai after his sophomore year like many husker fans thought we should. I was told multiple times during Tai's freshman and sophomore year that he was a bust.

Holy shit.  Had super busy night of NFL playoff drafts so turned phone off so I could watch it at midnight when I was done without any knowledge. I am not sure I will ever sleep.  What an amazing ballgame.   And it is one of those ballgames where the confidence can quickly spiral out of control if we had lost it.  HUGE momentum win.  Iowa is WAY better than their resume would suggest up to this point.  They are easily better than that Maryland bunch IMO.  Especially for our matchups.  Damn what a game.

It must have been quite a ballgame.  Besides mine, there were two other "holy shit's" in another thread.  Like them, I apologize for my language, and being a religious man I certainly didn't mean it as it may have came off.   What an incredible ballgame.

I have a strong feeling that this Nebraska/Iowa matchup is going to be a fun one to watch for at least the next 2-3 years.

We better keep recruiting.  Justin Cook is an amazing talent.  Among others.

Iowa's freshmen looked better than I expected.  Those kids can ball.  Their game against Omaha must have been their Gardner Webb.

AWESOME WIN!!!!!  We had plenty of chances to fold with the missed free throws, the crappy call where they gave Iowa the basket they tipped in after they fouled Tai, etc.  The kids were up to task every time.  So proud of our guys.

Cook didn't play in that one.

I really enjoy coming back and reading the game thread after attending the home games. It's amazing at how those that are watching on tv or listening on radio are feeling the same emotions that those of us at game are experiencing. After watching the game again I get even more wound up at the 3 guys that called themselves officials. I want to comment more but I'm just going to enjoy the win over the "Idiots Out Walking Around".

Nebraska sucks, Iowa has no business losing to such a lowly program - embarrassing

Iowa is just soooo much more talented than Nebraska (no, not really) and their youth is what cost them the game (never mind that Nebraska is equally young)

Tim Miles is a jerk who should have been thrown out of the game

Refs were on the take

"We'll beat the nubs (heh, nubs, that never gets old ) by 15 in Carver Hawkeye"

Just your basic crying.

Was wondering what they thought of the game.

I find Iowa people in general kind of funny.  Like they are soooo much better than us Nubs because they live East of the Missouri.

Only difference I can see is that they seem to like pork more than beef. Otherwise if somebody doesn't have on their school's colors we look, talk, think and act the same.

Maybe it is just me and the beef brain I have.

But...but... Nebraska lost to Garner Webb, so that makes them a bad team. Duh.

They made a comment that they would have won if their guy had made a basket at the end of regulation. Then one guys says t h at Nebraska should have won with 1 sec had they made 1 free throw.

They don't math well. 3+90=94 in Iowa.
