“Our whole game plan was to be disruptive,” said Bears coach Lindsay Gottlieb. “We disrupted with our traps, with our guards, our full-court press.

“I put on the board before the game ‘Be faster and more athletic.’ They can’t put that on the board. So 18 steals and 10 blocks is what we wanted it to look like.”

The plan to pester Shepard also worked.
