Four Factors
Effective FG%: 57.3 21 48.8 140 49.8
Turnover %: 12.8 5 17.0 278 19.3

FTA/FGA: 33.0 225 27.9 47 36.4

Players to watch: Justin Robinson

Robinson's insertion into the starting PG position at the end of the season helped propel Virginia Tech into a NIT bid. While Robinson is just an average shooter he's the type of point guard capable of penetrating the lane to get to the FT line or dish to an open teammate when the defense collapses.

The Skinny: This team looks an awful lot like Dayton at the moment: Shooting a lot of 3s, led by their guards, not a ton of height to block shots, not a particularly good FT shooting team.  Buzz Williams' squad brings back four starters and almost everyone else from a team looking to break the Hokies' 10 year NCAA dry spell.  Tech has 4 players currently averaging double digit scoring and likes to run a small ball lineup which the Huskers are well equipped to handle. Look for Nebraska to once again attack the rim the entire game which should leave some open Huskers when we're not hero-balling.  It will be hard for the Huskers to single out guys to take away but Ahmed Hill is your 3pt statue to not sag off of and undersized 6'7" center Zach LeDay is a load to stop down low.

This is one of those resume games for both teams in what should be a close probably grinder of a game.  Gotta like we're the better FT shooting team here.

Prediction: Nebraska 69 - Virginia Tech 66
