The only thing I saw scouts say made AW3 not NBA ready was his defensive game, so naturally he went to a school that runs a 2-3 and left behind a staff that prides itself in defensive toughness. His loss, some DLeague or Overseas Team's gain. Let's not split hairs over him anymore.

One can find talented teams ruined by lack of buy-in. teamwork, etc. The reasoning isn't unsound itself but ignores where the decision to transfer came from.  How much of it was AW2?  If you buy into AW2's statement that "He would leave the final decision to AW3" it's very plausible he was painting a very one sided pictures before that decision.
