Apparently offered this kid yesterday. I like him a lot and think he could be a program player for us if somehow we land him. Looks like we are one of few major offers for him which is good that he is under the radar. Also sign me up for anyone out of Cushing Academy or Mass Rivals.

Depending on open scholarships (Fuller, transfers, etc.) a 4 man class of Wabissa, Batts Jr., Sims, and Savion Flagg would be one of the best classes... like ever.... for us.

Flagg would have to be a part of it for the class to reach anywhere close to "best ever" status, IMO.

Didn't see any stats, I think Bede had about 10 pts or so, Nice ball handling skills.  Announcers thought he seemed like a sparkplug in the game.  Seems like he did let a couple of players get by him to the rim a couple of times.

Va Tech has Buzz Williams and Butler has relatively recent success.  UMass and La Salle are regional schools.  Minnesota looks like the outlier, but I'm sure other fanbases say that about us when we're in some of these top 5 lists.  Also, we just offered him less than a month ago.  So even if the coaching staff made a hard push for him, it may have been a case of arriving late to the party; you can do that if you're Duke or Kansas but we don't have that luxury.
