with these guys battling for 8/9th man in the rotation.

Roby

Horne

Taylor

Fuller

The funny thing is there is a possibility that the starting lineup has Roby or Horne at the 3.

Completely agree with that.

Anyone watch this in May? Feature on Anton Gill.

The takeways were

- More of a 2 guard than a combo guard/point guard

- Can get his own shot

- Took over practices ala TP5 and AW3

He's going to have to be a 15 PPG+ for us IMO.  I think he's capable of doing that.

Yep, pump in what AW-III would have provided with more from Tai & Glynn et al to make up for our offensive punch missing from our seniors departing (basically Shavon & a lil' Benny). Anton will clearly need to be a go-to player next season.

And Andrew White didn't just watch it in May.  He saw it all last year.  Don't tell me he wasn't thinking about Gill being a scorer who will command touches when he decided to pull the trigger on the transfer.

If anything he didn't think highly enough of Gill as the most floated rumor of him transferring was to play on a better team.

I don't care what he told anyone publicly or semi-publicly.  Or even privately.  The way things went down and what his agenda ended up being, you will never convince me that he wasn't looking over his shoulder at Gill and thinking, damn, I'm not getting NBA scouts to look at me if I'm the 2nd best player for Nebraska.  I'm sorry, I just don't buy it if anyone tries to say lack of touches didn't factor into the equation.

Quick question: does Miles typically announce his starting lineups before the first game of the season or just leave it as a surprise? I cannot really remember.

He doesn't always let everyone know ahead of time. Tip off is usually when Miles announces it, for the most part.

We'll find out when he signs with his new team but I'll bet dollars to donuts he won't be the best player and will get 350+ shot attempts if he stays healthy.  However, considering everything is basically geared towards blaming anything but himself for NBA teams saying no thanks it's possible that he thinks that scouts won't look at him if he's the 2nd best player while simultaneously thinking he needs to be a role player in order to highlight his skill set.

I'm looking at my writeup last year and I didn't have it though i don't think I had a lineup most of the time. BR had the lineup with his article though I don't know if that was an informed guess or not.

Both Rosenthal and Barfknecht would typically have an educated guess after talking with Miles during the game-week, but the official lineup was announced on-court.

Jordy out of the weight room again? I don't know about this!

FWIW the woman in the picture is 6'4"

If she was 6'4, the guys are all 7 footers.

Is it weird the first thing I noticed is that she is carrying a baby? Tell me I'm not the only one...

That would make each of the guys over 8 feet tall.

Let's see, the last undefeated team in college basketball was the 76 Indiana team, right?

UCLA had a stretch of like 2 undefeated seasons or something like that?

I think this team (if they stay together) should be breaking some records.

FWIW the woman in the picture is 6'4"

But how does she compare in height to Doug McDermott?
