2017 C Luka Garza -> Iowa

Recommended Posts

247 crystal ball has him split between louisville and Iowa and he is 6'10, i am definitely N

FWIW they still have Jordy as 100% to Boston College

I wouldnt be shocked if Jordy had three hats sitting out(Nebraska, Minnesota and Okie Lite) and he just goes... BUT WAIT, and rips off his shirt to reveal a Boston College jersey.. he was silently committed all along.

Garza loves Iowa and McCaffray right now.  Fran was on him early.  Parents are very involved in his recruiting process.  We need to get a visit soon; this one may go quickly.

The Favorite

Luka Garza, a three-star center out haling from Washington D.C. looks to be Iowa’s best hope of filling the center spot in 2017. Garza carries a versatile skill set with him. While not as fleet of foot as the other two prospects, the 250-pound center displays a consistent shot all the way out to the three-point line, a decent jump hook over his right shoulder, the ability to finish with both hands around the rim and a ferocious tenacity on the boards. Another prospect that would fit in nicely in Fran’s system, Garza carries 14 offers right now, with Iowa, Louisville and Alabama being the top schools in the mix. The Hawks were the first school to offer Garza and the first school he visited, so the framework and relationship is there. Garza is the most realistic recruit for the Hawkeyes to land and fill the hole at center, and with his skill set as a stretch big man, he would be bring a versatility to the position that the Hawkeye fans haven't seen during Fran McCaffery's tenure in Iowa City.

it looks like he maybe typed that first sentence a few times:

"Luka Garza, a three-star center from Washington D.C."

"Luka Garza, a three-star center out of Washington D.C."

"Luka Garza, a three-star center haling from Washington D.C."  With the incorrect spelling

and just never spent any time proofreading...ending up with:

Luka Garza, a three-star center out haling from Washington D.C.
