  1. Past hour
  2. I can picture a time when conference alignment doesn't matter in football ... and where Nebraska is back in the Big XII for other sports.
  3. If I didn't know better I'd think that Fidler had to convince Michigan State to take him. Fidler is the first guy they landed out of the portal in the last two years.
  4. Today
  5. Have to think that MSU in the running for Chucky simply because Fidler is there. Seems more like Chucky is going to get paid to lose at Louisville though
  6. Yeah. Sort of a bummer. I initially did not think that was a fit. Izzo knows a heck of a lot more than me...so we shall see.
  7. The games in Lincoln were: Notable players: Pittsburgh - Charles Smith, Jerome Lane, Demetrius Gore, Sean Miller NC State - Chris Washburn, Charles Shackleford, Vinny Del Negro, Chris Corchiani, Rodney Monroe Kansas - Danny Manning, Kevin Pritchard, Milton Newton Vanderbilt - Will Perdue, Barry Goheen, Barry Booker Xavier - Byron Larkin, Stan Kimbrough, Tyrone Hill, Derek Strong
  8. Don't you mean pain to A&M? Lots of pain to A&M!!
  9. It seem like we're recruiting as if it's true that Mast will be sitting out next year so this may just be evidence that Igor is not coming to Nebraska
  10. Danny and the Miracles! So sweet beating them!
  11. Wasn't Danny Manning and Kansas at the Lincoln Regional that year? KU didn't have a great record but still made the Tournament. Lots of KU fans present and I believe the locals also were pulling for KU. They got hot and rode the momentum all the way to a National Championship.
  12. His 3pt stroke/form looks like Reink's somewhat. Also, us recruiting him might be more evidence about our fears regarding Mast's knees
  13. I remember one on 29th and O, right by the Village Inn. Had these rolls with a creamy filling. God awful but I had one a day!
  14. I went with some friends. I remember a 6’ 10”forward from Pitt or Maryland, Smith, I think. Also, I think K State was there, Blackwell played for them,I believe. What I remember the most were those damn basket extensions that came down from the ceiling. I sat right where it block my view some.
  15. Yep, I was there. Great atmosphere and some pretty good basketball. I hope Lincoln is able to host again in the near future.
  16. I like the pick and pop action with him. Not the most explosive kid but skilled for his size. Wonder how well he can defend the paint and perimeter.
  17. Sounds right. Didn't you go to those games? Like Jimmy said, it didn't make Xavier very popular with the BDSC crowd.
  18. Game looks like it'll fit. Had a drop in efficiency with an increase in volume this last year. But he can shoot and looks to be effective at pulling down ORB https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/touko-tainamo-1.html
  19. Wonder what happened at the end of the season for him. Averaged 15 pts/game but had just 23 total points in the last 5.
  20. ah ok...then yeah that would make sense. There were almost as many 7-11's in Nebraska as there were corn fields back in the 80s.
  21. Xavier actually practiced in the Pius gym the day before their game. They were not too popular at BDSC when they entered.
  22. Nebraska playing Texas A&M likely was part of the reason CJ ended up there as he would have been scouted by them as part of that process and they obviously liked what they saw
