The Skinny

Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. Two years ago when Gallegos and Pitchford would either shoot or make for sure that they could complete a pass, you could count on Nebraska to take care of the ball. Today we find ourselves among the worst in Div 1 at taking care of the ball, with just over 25% of our possessions ending with turnovers. Ball handling was the name of the game for Saturday's practice as a SE Louisiana team proficient in generating turnovers and steals comes into town. The speed that the Lions play at will cause more turnover woes for the Huskers but it's a fairly substandard squad that Nebraska should be able to overpower. Anything less than 15 turnovers against a squad like this should be considered progress.

Nebraska shouldn't have much trouble putting this game away in what should be a fast paced and high scoring affair.

Prediction: Nebraska 88 - SE Louisiana 66 with a 100% chance of Runzas
