All those people voting for Creighton probably just got mixed up and meant to vote for us...

Going to the school who's first win against a ranked opponent since 1998 was #21 Nebraska (2014-2015). Since then, they have beat #6 Creighton (2016-2017) and #10 Oklahoma (2017-2018); both first round NCAA tournament wins.

Really? Please. Tell that guy he can kiss my fat white ass.That guy, hell there were probably 30 of them wearing that shirt.How do we expunge the bank of these twits?Nebraskans for Nebraska....and UNO...and UNK...and Weslyan..and Doane..and hell even Josephs College of Hair Design...just not Creighton. Okay I heard this little rumor today so take it for what it's worth, but supposedly those shirts were made by Craydon fans in Omaha who then put a party bus together to come down from Omaha and root against the Huskers. The guy who told me this may be completely full of crap but the shirts didn't make sense that they would be made by SW Minn fans. Anyway does this show us how desperate they are to stay relevant this year when they're clearly going to suck, or are they just that big of d-bags? I guess it could be both. If that rumor is true, then I pity them for having nothing better to do...other than to come to Lincoln and see the best basketball team in the State this year and for years to come. Take it for what it's worth, but I also heard a rumor that Creighton fans tend to feel underprivileged in the Midwest market and overstate their accomplishments in order to feel relevant. I can't remember, but I think I heard that from a guy wearing blue under his Husker shirt sometime during the Fall on a Saturday.

Creighton just went from "WE REALLY WANT THIS GUY" to "This guy is awful." If I see any of that malarky on BJU I'll be sure to call them out, but please don't make that sort of thing up. I haven't seen anything resembling that sort of talk from Creighton fans. Everyone I know from CU wanted him pretty bad. There's been some 'we don't need him as bad as NU does' which, in a way, is ironic since NU will have 2 more PG's (3 with Glynn) on its roster than Creighton next fall, but certain people will always look for some type of rationale to ease the sting of losing a recruiting battle This was a tongue-in-cheek comment. Seems this is the generic response from some of our "rivals" every time someone commits. Fair response though.

Exactly. It's just unfortunate that many Creighton fans are insecure about this topic. Just play with it and have some healthy competition.

Without getting into a cross-university political discussion, why do people hate Creighton so much? I'm just curious to hear your/their viewpoint.

Might I add... I have a hard enough time trying to find someone who has been a Creighton fan for more than 16 years.

I think they don't make you play someone in the 2nd round and they try to keep it from happening in the 3rd round. Wouldn't it be fun if we played Creighton and beat them to get us into the Sweet 16? Now that would be something...

I remember the comment regarding "When the last time Nebraska and Creighton both beat a ranked opponent on the same day." Answer: "Against Georgia, on Jan. 1 in the Gator Bowl" (Credit goes to cipsucks on that one).

Lets be honest... Buffett knew all along that nobody would pick Nebraska to beat Baylor, Creighton, Wisconsin, Arizona, Michigan, and Florida.

Second best part about America: 1) Brewsky's has a product/service they are able to provide to the consumers. 2) People influence the demand of that product/service and Brewsky's decisions are influenced by that.

Never was a fan of the curve... I do not understand evaluating someone's content knowledge as it relates to others in a specific class. Shouldn't it relate to the content itself?? (Don't answer that... I don't want to sidetrack my own thread!) ...unless you're Creighton. They don't have any class.

Just another random/unrelated poll to pass the time. To premise this poll, which fan is worse? 1) Creighton fans. More specifically, the ones who hate any form of success Nebraska has. The ones who think the Big East is the most elite conference and believe Creighton is a Final Four team every year (forgetting how terrible they've been sans the last decade). 2) Nebraska basketball bandwagoners. Specifically, the ones who are hardcore Husker Football fans and for their entire life completely neglected Husker Hoops. The ones who, with any signs of success, end up jumping on-board and, when challenged, claim they've been a Husker Hoops fan their entire lives.
