  1. Keep petteway and get immediate help in the front court (edwards or leslee smith type juco PF/C or transfer PF/C) and i think this team can reach the ncaa tourney next year.
  2. marcus marshall, rasheed sulaimon, gordon are the other big names chris golden from Weber st is another option, but he's only 6'2 160
  3. what? molinari's style won't win in the big ten. He was the assistant coach at minnesota back in '04-'07 and the gophers had one of the worst records in school history in '07
  4. Time to get out the checkbooks and outbid USD
  5. Tai isn't a PG. Benny can't score and isn't a true PG either. I hope Watson starts from day one. If Watson doesn't start, this upcoming season is basically a repeat of last year.
  6. Norvell (on the right) is 6'4 which means Ed Morrow is a little over 6'5
  7. BJ Johnson and Ron Patterson. BJ already transferred. Ron is a 6-2 sophomore SG. Had offers from Ill, IU, Mich, Minn, OSU, Purdue, VT, Xavier... committed to IU originally. Wouldnt mind if Miles went after Ron. Have him sit out '15-'16 and he plays in fall 2016. Hopefully we keep petteway on board as the SG for '15-'16 so Ron can take over for him.
  8. His 247 page from HS shows he didn't commit but had offers from Auburn KSU, LSU, Memphis, Miss St, OU, Okla st. Rivals confirms the LSU, Miss st offers though. Both have him as a 3 star In HS: averaged 18.4 ppg, 12 rpg, 6 blocks per game but shot FT's at 43%
  9. you can still play in it today, if there are no intermural sports going on. played basketball in there a few times
  10. Along with andrew zelis, some uncommitted JUCO bigs w/ offers: Brandon Walters (IL C, 6'9, 295 lbs, NU offer) Jordan Washington (IA C, 6'8, 260 lbs, ASU offer) Kimani Packson (NM PF, 6'8, 230 lbs, Tenn, CSU, ODU offers) Russell Woods (IL PF, 6'8, 225 lbs, MU, s. carolina offers)
  11. Hope he's as good as DeAndrew White III https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUyqZWXlXC4
  12. I think Petteway leaves. If he does, then I hope miles targets a center that is eligible next season. If Tai leaves, Miles needs to grab marcus marshall from missouri state. He has one year left. He wont be eligible next season (2015-2016), but he will be the following season (2016-2017). In '16-'17, Shields will have already graduated. Marshall would be a great scoring option to fill in for Shields (he averaged 19 ppg at missouri st)
  13. Who would make this team the most successful? For me, its close between Towns and Okafor. I'm going with Okafor. Replace him w/ Rivers and move Walter to the PF spot. This would be a solid top 5 B1G team and a lock to the tourney w/ okafor. Probably in the round of 32 as well Okafor provides a lot more offense than Towns, although Towns is much more athletic and a better defender. Other players that could possibly make this team into a tourney team IMO: Russell, Willie Cauley-Stein, kaminsky Russell, at the PG position, would be the best passer on the team. He is also a major scoring threat. I don't think he would give us better results than Okafor or Towns though. So, Okafor > Towns > Russell > WCS > kaminsky. This a tourney team with any of those 5 Dont see how the rest of the 10 can get us into the tourney. Looks like 7 b1g teams are in the tourney and all of them have a 9-9 B1G record or better. With our bad out of conference loses we would have to have a 10-8 record minimum with a win or two in the B1G tourney. I think players like tyus jones, melo trimble, jerian grant, myles turner could land us on the bubble.
  14. Would you guys take him over Levi Cook?
  15. David Rivers goes straight up and its a foul Layman goes straight up against benny with even more contact and its not the foul
  16. I just got back from the future. Ed Morrow Jr is next. Save this post for 2017/2018/2019.
