oh, not so sure about that. i don't think iowa would have offered her if they didn't see something in her. i might be wrong, but, don't think her sister really showed up till her junior year. course, having gusty sure helped everyone else.

the injury nightmare is on: porter-injured brady-injured dillard-injured and sounds like she may not be back this season cayton-not cleared as far as i know from her past injuries and, of course helms has left 2020 what a year.

with Creighton being fairly "small", you would think this has the potential for Cain to have a decent game rebounding and scoring. Creighton has one player that is listed at 6'2" (Parham...sp?) and she avg's about 10 minutes per game. be pretty disappointing if Cain can't get some points in the paint. hope Bella has another good game rebounding...would think she starts again.

just started watching about 3/4 way through the first half and noticed the lovefest with Rutgers from those announcers

just when Cain has you about ready to pop some excedrin, she comes up with 4 big free throws and a huge block!!! still kinda amazes me with her height/length she isn't good for 6-8pts/game just around the rim. she does have pretty nice touch with her shot. i still have a lot of respect for her---all took place when she stepped up to the mic a couple of times last season. really good teammate and has a lot of class. Cravens-nice! tough player. can really mix it up around the rim! RB43 who? jk like someone else mentioned, think her offense will come around. may not be consistent, but, think she will have some good games on the offensive side to go along with her strength of rebounding. congrats to Sam Haiby! what a game! a little surprised Illinois didn't try a little more to shut her down. will be kind of interesting to see if Illinois continues to be an offensive threat. i never thought they would shoot that well on the road.

could very well be right. she really did appear to be a great teammate and leader---seemed to enjoy being a husker.

have to wonder if her condition just couldn't handle the "up and down" grind. i would take notice of her on the bench last season and was one of the biggest "cheerleaders" for her teammates. very unfortunate. wish her nothing but the best whatever the future holds.

holy buckets....watched the iowa-drake game. iowa won 103-97. clarke 30 czinano 27 warnock 20 caitlin clark is something special. scored 30 against drake and 27 against uni. she gets to the basket and can shoot from anywhere on the floor. i'll say it right now-be surprised if she doesn't end up becoming iowa's all time leading scorer. i also wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't have at least a handful of games where she breaks 40+ during her career. she can just plain score. if she stays healthy, gonna have quite the career at iowa. iowa isn't a great defensive team, however, your going to have to outscore them...and that isn't going to be easy.

as far as the Summit League goes, i was told that only season ticket holders and students can request tickets and limited to a couple hundred (for now).

well, from what i could tell...looking at the BigTen site appears through Dec 6th there are only two women's games that will be on networks available to fans. one on espn and one on BTN (a Maryland game and an Indiana game). everything else appears to be BTN+. like someone else mentioned, get the feeling lot of BTN+ for non-con.
