just curious because i never noticed this............did anyone notice Nissley in any kind of pain, or, limping at some point? i wonder if the pain would occur after the games? i have watched reruns a number of times (especially the BigTen Tourney, so enjoyable) just never seem to see her struggle. praying the surgery on her feet help her.

i haven't seen/heard any announcement out there, so, just thought i would pass out 3 scenarios that i was discussing with an old buddy from sioux falls area. or, maybe should say these are the 3 "rumors". from most probable to least: 1. the "no contact" mention in her portal news just means she has a handful of P5 schools that she would be interested in and is seeing what could develop there. 2. she is going to Colorado State to play with her sister. i mentioned to him that if she had her heart set on playing with her sister, she probably would have announced that by now. he agreed. 3. wants to come back South Dakota.......in which she would most likely end up at SDSU. could be wrong but i don't see it. anyway, all but speculation.

speaking of, Elle Evans has entered the portal......Illinois???

oh, btw.........ronsiek has a "do not contact" label---so, i would say she knows where she is going

geez......seems like she has been around forever. part of it could be that i remember when she played for SF's O'Gorman.

when i heard it was a leg injury......i hoped for the best, but, this didn't surprise me. i would expect a rs season. i don't know anything about Kennadi, so not sure how much she could have contributed as a freshman (2024-25) wish her a full recovery!

i read where A. Stewart attended the NDSU-Gopher wnit game at williams arena. gopher?........or, maybe a bison? or, could mean nothing although she is from both areas. maybe just there to watch her classmates. it would be huge for the bison (if that should happen). i have watched a handful of the bison games this past season and they have a 6' 3" "guard" Elle Evans who i think is from illinois. she is very talented. i believe she will be a junior. kinda wondered if she might hit the portal and try the next level, but, there are deep pockets at ndsu. meant to add: mara braun was limping around after the game (she had foot surgery a while back). she didn't play in the wyoming game.

Oregon State's height was an issue. add some block shots and i think that messed with the husker minds. got a little intimidated around the basket. defense just kept the husker offense out of rhythm most of the game. just a quick synopsis.

could be interesting to see where she ends up. i wish her nothing but the best as she moves forward.

was talking to a close friend of mine.........he stated if Dawn Plitzeweit had stayed at USD, Ashlyn Koupal from South Dakota would have been a lock. she has stated that is where she really wants to go......however, things are a bit shaky there. it still sounds like Koupal may be USD's to lose. never know, but, he didn't think she would go with Plitzeweit at Minnesota. i'd love to see her in the "other" red. imo, would be a great get for Williams.

both michigan and michigan st pull some good recruits out of minnesota. plus, be a surprise if iowa doesn't get maddyn greenway from minnesota.

i agree. williams needs to find that 6'3"-6'5" athletic player if you want to take it to another level. one that can play on both ends of the court. it's difficult because most of them head for the blue blood programs. not so sure maggie was the answer.

i have to give her a lot of props for stepping to the mic after being fired. most coaches would have said "screw it" and left the area.
