So you are putting this on him? He scored 21pts. Every team’s best defender was on him. He was grabbed and pulled in every game. Defensively he improved every season. He wasn’t an elite defender, however he was average. His scoring more than offset any defensive deficiencies. 
It will be very difficult to replace him. Best pure shooter since Pike.

Jeezus guys. We get our poop pushed in by the sweater vests, I get subjected to endless heckling today at work by the legal department and Napa winery folks in blue and we think Tominaga is the problem here?? He was arguably the ONLY player yesterday that came out and EMBRACED the atmosphere and gravity of the game. Mast didn’t. Allick was weaker than Bekka out there. Wilcher looked like he couldn’t stay in front of Alison Weidner in a leg brace, Boogie hoisted up a shot that looked like he was shooting a half court shot for a weekend stay in Denver, Brice was wide eyed the first 15 minutes, and JL out of control at times and the take is KT is the issue??? Laughable. CU’s game plan was to shut down and deny KT and he kept us in the game in the first half. He came back with ZERO NIL deals. Yes he wants to prove he can play at the next level, but he loves it in Lincoln and playing for Nebraska. Unreal. 

It’s better than asking when spring practice starts for Big Red baseball for sure.  Something tells me that seasons going to sneak up on us basketball fans this year.

I had no idea the bureaucrats at DHS were involved. I figured it was the bureaucrats at the NCAA.  I would think DHS would be more concerned with Feinstein's Chinese spy limo driver, Eric Swalwell banging a Chinese spy, McConnel's ties to the CCP and Lindsey Graham's ties to Ukraine.  But, no.  Just like the Creighton game, got a feeling we win this bitch and it will be without help from the D.C. elites.

Wow.   You do understand she has already gotten herself into college as a scholarship athlete, correct?  Would you dump your wife and "go for the money"?   I'd take my wife over any amount of money on earth (and at one point she was "just my girlfriend").  Of course, she's a basketball fan.   I'm sure the Jay offer is pretty good also, btw.  

As I have posted before, I am a Nebraska fan that doesn’t despise Creighton.  I have no problem pulling for the Jays when they don’t play Nebraska.  In my mind, anything that brings attention to College Basketball in Nebraska is a good thing. My Kearney St roommate from Superior was a big Creighton fan and growing up I followed the careers of Red McManus, Paul Silas, Tom and Rick Apke, Gene Harmon, Eddie Sutton, and even Tony Barone when he had Bob Harstad and Chad Gallagher. !  I want Nebraska to have a tradition that has that kind of success. 

I gotta say... there's worse dudes than CM. I never felt he wasn't giving anything but his absolute best.

I apologize to Matt for thinking Norm's thread got deleted.  I should have checked the other forums before I made my post. I said Norm deserved an apology because I thought his thread was deleted.  I have no idea what Norm's political views are.
I had no idea you down voted me when I started this thread.  I don't check my responds.
I truly don't care what you think.  Comedians won't perform at colleges anymore.  Wonder why?
 

Norm deserves an apology? For what? Because he got three down votes in the last two pages of a thread (hardly the "slew" you called it)? Or because your feelings got hurt when you mistakenly thought the thread got deleted?
 
And the guy who made a trans joke that used a person's dead name says we need to get our "focus back on the Huskers" and not on social issues. That's rich. You're mad at people for down voting "any social issue they disagree with" and not "focus(ing) on basketball,"  but where's the anger at the initial posts about social issues that engendered the votes? Those aren't focused on basketball, and they came before any votes were cast (either up, down, or otherwise). It seems more likely that you aren't mad that people aren't sticking to basketball, but that they're expressing non-support of social ideas you (and/or Norm, apparently) do support (i.e. the idea of not wanting to hire a basketball coach accused of domestic assault).
 
Because you are weirdly concerned about why people get down votes, I'll save you some confusion: I hit you with one on the trans joke post (that had nothing to do with Husker basketball and everything to do with a social issue) not because I think you are an "idiot, troll, or a Husker hater"; it was because I found it to be a shitty joke done in poor taste.

One person's overmoderation is another person's undermoderation

I can understand regional difficulties for baseball recruiting, as the ability to practice outdoors all winter and not have to play home games in 32 degree weather is significant.  I can understand the difficulty to a lesser extent for other sports, such as recruiting sand volleyball players to locations without beaches, or skiers to places without large mountains.  But basketball?  C'mon.  Basketball courts are the same everywhere in the country.  It's not like the agrarian economy of the Midwest prevents basketball courts from being built. 
 
If I'm a good basketball player, I'm not coming to Nebraska and that has nothing to do with the cornfields in Waverly.  It has everything to do with seeing Nebraska recruit highly touted players throughout the Hoiberg Era and produce absolutely nothing with said players.  My thought would be "If Fred can't win with Dalano and BMac, then he can't win with me either."  Success begets success, and failure begets failure.  That's why places like Lawrence KS (basketball) and Tuscaloosa AL (football) have elite programs, not that the towns themselves are any different that Lincoln NE.

For all those people bagging on Wilhelm Breidenbach, I'd just like to remind you that Adrian Martinez has 6 TD passes to only 1 INT this year. And he's the starting QB for a top 20 FB team. Sometimes the way the tools perform is the result of the carpenter using them.
 
I'd also like to remind y'all that, in terms of game experience, he's essentially a first-semester freshman.
 
I don't know about top 50 recruits. But I'd say he was certainly worthy of Rivals 150 inclusion.

Offense is being set back a century or two

I get a lot of information from a lot of different people, yet I have not heard anything regarding DW.  Nothing. I did get confirmation that he is day-to-day.  
Here is my issue, if someone has concrete information, please share.  But rumors and innuendo that besmearches a kids reputation is pretty mean spirited.   I guess it is a reflection of the current environment.
