I have suspected that Rachel may not be back this season, that this injury was a little more severe than first described. That being said, it looks like the girls are learning to play a bit better without her. The three game losing streak came against ranked teams that would have been tough for us even with Rachel playing. In all honesty, I thought we did pretty good in those games even though we didn't get a win out of any of them. If you had told me earlier in the season that we would play those games without Rachel I wouldn't have been surprised with 3 blow out losses, instead we were competitive.
I'm also liking T taking some jump shots instead of trying to rely so much on the 3. That has to be tough for a team to defend her - she is streaky with the 3, can take it straight to the hoop with her speed, or pull up for a jumper and nail it. She has also had some nice passes for the occasional assist. Just need a little more consistency across the board and everyone needs to stop with the crappy passes.
