After that 34-pt. game against tOSU, Mast hovered above 35% on his threes, he only dipped beneath that at the very end of the season when he wore down some... he's gotta be up there in the Big Ten as far as overall efficiency when considering his 2FG% was 48.2%, 3FG% was 34.4%, and FT% was 84.4%. A very unique skill-set for Nebrasketball, yet seems to be the norm in the NBA now.
The fact that NU had 9 dudes between 30.6% and 39.4% on threes is kind of an incredible stat. And C.J. Wilcher was above 50% on threes for a decent portion of the season, he seemed to struggle a bit when teams locked him up in the latter part of the year. Still had 45-39-94 splits, which is darn good in college basketball.. If those three numbers added up to 200, that's basically an elite shooter & Wilcher finished just shy of that at 178, although only shooting 33 FTs makes his 94% seem better than if had performed at volume. Overall, really good year for C.J. as a 6th man, wish he had been able to finish out 2024 like the 1st two-thirds of the season. GBR Always.
