  1. Saw William Kyle in the Omaha bracket. And that dude has a lot of bounce. Yeah, he's Allick on 'roids. lol - and, no, it's just a figure of speech, and not an indictment on W.K. in any way, shape, or form. He's a better version of Jo. I'd love that!!!!
  2. Both will likely be a big part of those teams' futures, though.
  3. Forgot about the Spain trip, that's Ramel's only extensive action on the court. Sayonara, RLJ.
  4. Just seeing this now. I high-fived RLJ at the send-off from the Sheraton. And he had a huge grin on his face. Seemed to be havin' the time of his life. Then, today, it's portal time. And it's to be expected, honestly. Two years in Lincoln, not a single minute on the court during a ballgame. Maybe someone saw him practice or in the fun Nebrasketball Opener Event... that's it. Oh well, wish him well. GBR
  5. Agree on expectations. You see, I expected NU to win 21 games and 11 in the B1G. So, finishing top 4 was an expectation of mine. It was an utterly fun experience all around. My 16 year old son and I went to every home game. My bro went to most, likely 90%. And my bro & I were in Memphis, too. It was a total blast, other than the final outcome. Keisei going off in those first few minutes of the game was simply ELECTRIC. And the team send-off from the Sheraton was AWESOME, too. I want to keep watchin' Tominaga, maybe I'll need to go to the 2024 Olympics to see KT!!!! GBR!!!!
  6. Weidner will be a factor, the extent of how many minutes she's able to endure will determine the trajectory of this team next season. Not to put pressure on her, but she's a key cog in the way that Jaz Shelley was this past season. GBR Always.
  7. Yeah, I mentioned that somewhere on here last night. Totally agree. It would be amazing to add a couple more B1G dudes to that trio... depending on how the numbers shake out, of course. GBR Always.
  8. Ramel Lloyd Jr. received two years of a great education and good scout-team experience. I'd say he and Bronny James can start their own college so they can be their bonafide star players. Maybe LeBron can accomplish that for his fellas.

  10. Hello, we're Nebrasketball, obviously we either finish top 4 in the Big Ten... or bottom 4 in the Big Ten. We're Nebrasketball.
  11. That's a good way to put it. Met expectations. Room for B1G improvement, yet a solid base for said improvements to be made. GBR Always.
  12. McCaffrey just jumped Dr. Tom Davis at Iowa in total wins. He'd have to kicked to the curb to leave there.....
  13. Kudos to Fred & Co. for resurrecting his own career and making NU relevant again, the early-to-mid 1990s, Nebraska kicked a lot o' butt. GBR Always.
  14. $$$$$$$$$ That's what will be needed for South Stadium, it will be very interesting to see how that one evolves.
  15. GCU has an NBA baller... and KU's been hot garbage as far as a talent standpoint because they overpaid for Hunter Dickinson instead of being wise and getting better depth. Oh well, nice to see they had the same record as NU, yet they feel like they sucked, meanwhile many of our fans will use the word 'great' to describe it. I'd contend both teams had a 'good' season tbh.
  16. That was a shit show in the ref side-show we witnessed Fri. nt. too. Sheesh, Jeffrey Anderson.... high knees !!!!
  17. It was disheartening on Friday evening's result in Memphis, but I actually left FedEx Forum optimistic that a few tweaks and Fred & Co. will have that elusive March Madness win next year in Wichita. Book it. GBR Always.
  18. I hesitate to call it that because they haven't won a trophy or achieved what had never been done before. What's wrong with a good season? By the way, last season I didn't call it a good season.... so, maybe we are splitting hairs here. My definition of good and great may not be far off. I had an absolute blast in Memphis, other than seeing A&M guards drive by us unabated or those few dudes burying triple after triple. The rest of the experience at March Madness was very memorable. I figured A&M and Houston would provide a great show, those two were clearly the class of Memphis as far as talent collection. I am in no way disappointed by 2023-24. In fact, I am the one who advocated for winning a trophy in Minny would have been my preference over a singular win in the NCAAs. Recall the Alumni Weekend they honored the 1994 champs, and that's forever. Now, granted, I selfishly wanted both. GBR Always.
  19. So... another sweep?! I'll take it, I suppose. No hit to the RPI, lol.
  20. It was a good year, but not a great year. Let's hope for greatness in 2024-25. GBR Always.
  21. Miss Jaz Shelley already. She repped her team with dignity, class, and integrity. A certain baller from the next state to the east could learn a few things from J.S. Love how well she did and how great she was as a person, too. Need someone to take over her responsibilities next year, a few candidates out there, including one coming off a 1 1/2 year layoff and another being the 4-time State Champ as a true FROSH in an 18-team Big Ten. It will be interesting to see how that all develops in 2024-25. GBR Always.
