  1. This is better than the 350th ranked team, like Nebraska played last season. The NET rankings for NU wouldn't be irrevocably broken by this matchup like the RPI was last year against the Delaware State's of the world. Sheesh, *that* was awful.
  2. Miles' former player is now the Southwest Minnesota State Head Coach, Brad Bigler.
  3. Ehhh, this is simply a discussion type of deal. Seton Hall has more recent BIG victories. I'm not too concerned. Andy Katz loves Nebrasketball !!!
  4. Well, this is just based on "what have you done for me lately" rankings, so NU will be back in the top 20 sooner than later. I have no doubt! GBR !!!
  5. To contrast, here's where NU would be in the old RPI...........
  6. Won't know 'til it happens. Let's just wait & see it play out.... I choose to root for Thor while he's in Lincoln!
  7. Agreed. He's a spot player. I like his moxie. And he's not afraid of the moment, it seems. Keep developin', Thor, your time may come to contribute more often. I'm rootin' for ya!
  8. Glynn is averaging over 4 assists per game. JPJ has made 13 of his past 17 three-pointers. Cope is getting better defensively, paired with Roby especially on the interior. Roby scored 18 in the 2nd half, yet he only made 9 of 16 FTs. Thor is more than serviceable, when called upon. And if he ever became a deadly 3-pt shot, he'd be more than useful in the coming years... Heiman is a very skilled FROSH, he'll come along nicely to contribute in a B1G role by next season, methinks. Borchardt is a serviceable specimen for rebounding & setting picks. I wished he had another season to compete (that 1 game as a SOPH... ughh)
  9. That's how I played it out *at 13-7* in the pre-season prediction contest. ?
  10. Yes, NU needs Amir Harris back & better than ever. Hopefully sooner than later! GBR !!!
  11. Yes, that was certainly a frustrating element to this afternoon's ballgame. A bit of slumber by the Big Red.
  12. Three games in 20 days. Yeah, that's a college-footballesque schedule.
  13. Clemson won at South Carolina, 78-68. Good win, in spite of S. Car. and its 4-7 record might otherwise indicate. In-state rivalry. Road victory.
  14. Let's win all of NU's games going forward. ?
  15. Former Husker Ed Morrow Jr's Marquette squad knocked off previously unbeaten Buffalo, 103-85.
